SBAB
SBAB is part of the Ministry of Finance. Together with the Tax Authority, SBAB ensures that all entrepreneurs submit a tax return and pay the tax due. While the tax authority is in charge of enforcement and the collection of these taxes, SBAB is responsible for auditing the bookkeeping. Meaning that SBAB strongly encourages and facilitates entrepreneur’s growth and development in the tax industry.
SBAB was under the tax authority till 2000, when it was decided that it should be separate from the tax authorities. In 2002, SBAB became officially an ‘own foundation’. The benefit is that we can make our own decision, that could improve the employee engagement and knowing how to add value to the organization.
